Novellas
These novellas range in word count but typically are greater than 5,000 words. These may be stand alone tales or part of a large complex of stories that will be told through large works.
The Lamppost

It was their lampost.
The lampost where he first saw her.
The lampost beside their first date.
The lampost where he proposed.
They left ornaments every year in memory; a tradition of gratitude and love.
Christmas morning he brings ornaments. He remembers her and the life the lampost brought them.
The Candle
December 2021
"A candle in the window on the eve of Yule will draw spirits."
She knew the legends. A dark home on the eve of Yule was a safe home.
She lit a taper at the window.
This Yule, she would be reunited with him. This Yule, she'd bring him home.
